Hosted an adventure trip in Engadin!

Last week I was the host of an adventure camp in Engadin where I got to invite some inspiring women to take part. We had a few really great days together:

Me and Ebba arrived one day before everyone else so we took the opportunity to go on a little hike and enjoy the views and the sun.

This is the place. Morteratsch, a tiny stop by the train at the foot of Piz Bernina with a lot of hiking trails and biking around.

The next day everyone had arrived: Kajsa, Elisabeth, Ebba and Hildur. The first activity was to go climbing. Just ten minutes away there was a place with different crags.

It was a lot of fun. We climbed an overhanging route with this amazing view and then another one where everyone who wanted got to try lead climbing. Ebba finished with a 6C on top rope before we went back to the hotel for lunch.

We had Kaiserschmarren!

Then it was time to hike to the Boval hut where we were spending the night!

It was a lovely hike on a beautiful trail. When we arrived at the hut we sat down and had a drink and relaxed.

After drinks we did a short hike around the hut and found a small glacier lake.

The girls took a dip.

Then we went back to the hut for a four course dinner before going to bed.

We left the hut at 06:30 to cross the glacier and go to Diavolezza. Since it´s a dry glacier we didn´t rope up. Our guide Nik was keeping an eye of everyone.

Crossing the glacier meant 600 altitude meter uphill and a few kilometers to get to Diavolezza.

The last part was trail uphill.

And when we arrived we had lunch & drinks and relaxed a little bit before the next activity:

Via Ferrata!

It was a really nice thing to do. Back at Diavolezza we checked in to our rooms, had another four course dinner and went to sleep.

During the night there was a big thunderstorm so the next day we took the lift down after breakfast.

It rained but it was very nice since it´s been very warm in The Alps the last weeks.

We did a small little hike in the forest up to a glacier river where we took a swim.

It was cold but very refreshing.

After lunch at the local cheese farm we took the train back to Zurich. After a night at a hotel I took the train back to Stockholm. What an amazing experience this was. Thank you Visit Switzerland and Engadin for having us!
